Mission East > Handing over ceremonies were held in all the schools, furniture and classroom materials handed over to the schools administration in presence of education department and other government representatives. Speeches by the Government representatives and schools administration thanked the donors for funding and Mission East for facilitating the supply of the furniture and classroom materials and the authorities expressed appreciation and support of developmental projects in areas where Mission East has supported. Representatives Mission East also gave speeches to the schools administration and pupils encouraging them to put more efforts in education for their own benefits and teachers to devote themselves so that the children can be educated for better life in future and building their country.

In the morning when the pupils come from the homes their clothes are clean but after school the clothes are very dirty because of sitting on dusty floors. Also the children lack concentration for the floors are very cold and not comfortable to write on. Some of them get sick due to dust and miss school occasionally”
